VITAL Biedrība carries out its activities in the field of health promotion and well-being, with a particular focus on preventive health, mental health, and healthy lifestyles. The organization designs and implements community-based and non-formal education activities that aim to increase health awareness, strengthen personal resilience, and support individuals’ physical, mental, and social well-being.
The organization’s core activities include health education workshops, awareness-raising campaigns, and capacity-building training sessions for young people, youth workers, and community members. These activities address topics such as mental health awareness, stress management, emotional well-being, healthy daily routines, physical activity, nutrition, and work–life balance. All activities are designed using participatory and learner-centered methods, ensuring inclusivity and accessibility for participants with fewer opportunities.
VITAL Biedrība is actively engaged in youth work and non-formal learning initiatives at local and international levels. The organization develops and participates in Erasmus+ and other European cooperation projects, including youth exchanges, training courses, workshops, and transnational partnerships. Through these experiences, VITAL Biedrība contributes to the exchange of good practices, the development of innovative educational tools, and the strengthening of cross-sectoral and intercultural cooperation in the field of health and well-being.
In addition, the organization collaborates with local authorities, civil society organizations, health professionals, and educational institutions to design sustainable and impactful initiatives. VITAL Biedrība also gains experience in creating educational materials, guidelines, and digital resources related to health promotion and mental well-being, aiming to ensure long-term impact and knowledge transfer beyond project durations.Through its growing experience and commitment to quality, VITAL Biedrība continuously strengthens its organizational capacity and contributes to building healthier, more resilient, and more inclusive communities
